AX Software was formed in Birmingham in 2006 by Meirion Jenkins, Peter Waldron and John Fisher. Our aim was to instigate a new way of implementing ERP.

We now implement Microsoft Dynamics 365. Based on Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 is the latest cloud based version of Microsoft’s successful Dynamics AX ERP application. Dynamics 365 is a functionally rich, intuitive and an easy to use modern product.

AX Software started with the Axapta ERP system that has evolved over various iterations to Dynamics 365. Back in 2006, we implemented some of the earliest hosted systems in the UK, running on Axapta V3 and some of these sites remain clients today. Most, of course, have moved on to newer versions having followed the Microsoft roadmap through Axapta variants to Dynamics AX2012 and now D365.

Many clients use our consultancy resources in conjunction with their own primary Microsoft partner company, often to supplement the lack of resource or experience these partners may have and often to help conduct independent reviews and audits as to how D365 may be better utilised or implemented.

Equally Microsoft partners frequently call on our services where they have a shortfall in capability, entrusting us to work on their projects, the relationships we have built up with these partners have in some cases continued for more than 10 years.
